Green Bleach?

greenworks.jpgI have to admit something: we are not a “green” family. I don’t recycle as much as I should (OK, not at all) and while I make a few concessions here and there, if Earth bounces back from this ozone thing, it won’t be because of me.

But, something made me buy the GreenWorks All Purpose Cleaner and the GreenWorks Toilet Bowl Cleaner by Clorox. Clorox boast that these products are 99% natural and contain minute traces of chemicals. Hey, I have a child at home so the less chemicals the better.

Now, truth be told, I did not actually use the products. I, because of my asthma, do not use cleaning chemicals. My husband actually did the cleaning of the bathroom using the above products. This review comes from two point of views: mine upon seeing the bathroom, and my husband’s experience after actually using the products.

My husband loves these products. “They smell nice and they work better than Scrubbing Bubbles. In fact, scrubbing the toilet and shower took less elbow grease with these products than other, and I did not get high off the fumes. Tilex is the worse.”

I like them because the shower was white again. The toliet was white again. And the air was clean. It’s not often that I can say my house is clean and not have to use my inhaler before moving from one room to the next.

And hey, any cleaner that gets a husband excited is A.O.K in my book.
